Where to BEGIN…
It’s hard to know where or how to begin. For most of us it begins with a feeling of being overwhelmed, stuck and not being able to cope. Perhaps we are unable to ‘pull ourselves together’ and are, more often than not, pulling ourselves apart. A sense of worth, purpose, strength and direction are essential for our emotional wellbeing.
I offer a respectful, warm and empathetic ear, together with a safe, neutral space to help you to talk, and work through any issues you may have.
Sessions will differ depending on the mode of therapy we decide to use. We may work more in the here and now or, we may look at where issues have stemmed from in the past: I will be led by you.
I have experience with depression, anxiety, family relationships, addictions, eating disorders, loss and grief, OCD, bullying, abuse, low self-esteem and depression fallout - which is particularly relevant to those who live with someone suffering from depression.
